Quality Learning Environment

As a teacher, Caitlin must adhere to the Professional Teaching Standards (NSW Institute of Teachers 2005) and Quality Teaching Model (Department of Education and Training 2003) to ensure that her classroom is a quality learning environment, that the students feel safe and are comfortable to task risks and participate in learning.

Woodoo South Public School is committed to providing students with a safe and positive learning environment. In order to create a quality learning environment, one must consider the physical and emotional environment in the classroom (Konza, Grainger & Bradshaw 2001).
